Groups visiting Hochsauerland:

April 2018 - Students and staff from Pinewood Special Needs School, West Lothian visiting HSK as part of an Erasmus European funded project.

May 2018 - 40 West Lothian P7 pupils of stringed instruments participated in joint workshops and rehearsals as well as social activities at the music academy in Bad Fredeburg. A final concert was held in a the magnificent facility in HSK.

- 6 Scottish musicians, singers and poetry readers took part in a Burns Supper in the HSKmusic school.

June 2018 - a group of 9 guitar-playing pupils travel to HSK to twin with music school students in Bad Fredeburg.

August 2018 - The joint Youth Exchange programme was reorganised to involve secondary school pupils in the second leg of this two-year exchange. 15 Scottish and 15 German young people with appropriate youth leaders to take part.

- As part of Arnsberg music week, 4 West Lothian musicians took part in an open-air concert to celebrate the re-opening of the refurbished Arnsberg Museum.

September 2018 - WL Twinning committee members visiting HSK privately, but attending a concert which will mark the last official engagement of Georg Scheuerlein, Head of HSK Music School, who is retiring due to ill-health.

Groups visiting West Lothian:

March 2018 - a visit from members of the HSK Twinning Committee had to be cancelled due to heavy snow in Scotland.

April 2018 - An official delegation from HSK invited to West Lothian.

May 2018 - 10 members of Arnsberg Bowling Club visit West Lothian.

June 2018 - Some 30 players from Fanfaren-Korps Neheim visiting West Lothian as guests of Newland Concert Brass, Bathgate.
